Just stop it already

How long, Lord? How long will these people plunge headlong toward destruction and try to destroy everyone else before they themselves perish?

Rage and helplessness—my heart gasps, my mouth opens but no words come. How do you put up with this, O God? How can you bear it when everyone gives themselves over to every lie and proclaims each one to be the truth, each one to be You, and even above You? They are murderers, Lord. Every liar is a murderer.

“Tell these people to stop speaking lies in my name. Warn them, for I will not tolerate them forever. They have ensnared many, and been ensnared themselves, but I will hold them accountable for every one of my little ones they have corrupted by the desires of their hearts and the evil that they love. I am not the puppet of the man who tells them what they love to hear. Tell that little man, ‘You will be picked up by your tiny neck, plucked from your tiny palace, the fortress made by tiny hands and tiny workers. Your tiny soldiers with their tiny guns will never protect you from I who am mighty. You are already a coward, but on that day you will scream and cry and beg. Will you be heard, o tiny man with your tiny voice that speaks only lies and makes tiny arrogant sounds from your little lungs? Don’t you know what you are? I made you. What made you think you could build an army of lie-believers and march to war against me—for I am the Truth; what chance did you think you had to survive even my glance, much less the fury of my zeal for those you have devoured in your tiny, worthless little schemes? You are so small. Just stop it already. You have been alive for about two seconds. I am from all eternity and created the time in which you have breathed, the physical universe in which you have used the tiny brain I gave you, and the conscious soul of life which you have wasted completely. Even now, though, stop — humble yourself, admit what you are, confess all your lies, disavow every one of them, bow before the Holy One, honor truth, honor the meek, become lowly, accept the insults and blows of those you tried to subjugate and kill. Become the opposite of everything you are and everything you have been. If you do this, I will allow you to live.’”

“To the one who has believed the liar, say to him, ‘You were given more truth than most have ever had the chance to know, but truth did not suit you, for you wanted other things. Most of all, you wanted to feel powerful. You wanted to feel powerful, so you chose to believe you were right in everything you loved and everything you hated. You loved the power of being right, and so strong was your desire that you deliberately chose to follow falsehood; for what greater power exists than to proclaim without flinching even that which you know to be false—to say with haughty eyes and a serpent’s tongue that dark is light, down is up, night is day, evil is good, good is evil, God is Satan, and Satan is God? Therefore you will have what you want: you will have darkness, you will go down, you will know only the night, evil will do to you everything it wants, God will forsake you, and the evil one will be your master. Is this not what you wanted when you made every excuse when I challenged your lies through the people I sent you—those who came to you with my word which you scorn and twist to your liking? I have never known such arrogance. Nothing you care about or believe in will save you. What will you have when I strip you even of the ability to lie and believe in lies? You will have to suffer for many ages and eons to come because of the depth of your love for what is evil, for I am the Lord your God and I will not tolerate your idolatry and detestable ways.'"

“To the one whose heart grieves at the wickedness that consumes even the so-called righteous, speak these words of encouragement: The day is coming when no more lies will be spoken on earth and everyone who desires to follow God will know where to find Him. Do not lose hope and do not give way to the enemy of your soul. Though you are weary from grief and heavy-hearted at the shocking ways of the wicked, I will turn your sorrow to gladness and preserve you in the midst of suffering. You will yet be a light in the darkness and a refuge from the storm. Because I am with you and love you, you will draw many to my flocks—for I have told you many times that I always keep a remnant on my earth. I am the Lord and I do what I will. No man will disrupt or hinder my plans. No man can, for he is tiny. But my love is great, and my greatness will be praised. In the end, each will know his true place. Let he who has ears hear.’”

“Speak to them. Whether they listen or fail to listen, they will know that a prophet has been among them. I have called each one according to his purpose in my will.”
